Our team

Meet the Staff

Repairers of the breach and restorers of paths to dwell in.

This is a verse from Isaiah 58:12 and is an instrumental verse in the minds and hearts of the staff of Cord of Three. We are thankful for the qualified and competent clinical team that we have on staff. They each have a heart for serving the individuals and families who seek out counseling and their work is seen as an act of service to God. As we strive for Kingdom Excellence, we understand ourselves as laborers in the work of reparation and restoration, seeking diligently to unravel the lies that we have been deceived into believing and replacing those lies with truth.

This is a working board, composed of business and community leaders, who help ensure that CO3 is a good steward of its many gifts. The Cord of 3 Board of Directors serves as a tactical oversight entity for the operations of the agency. Their work is crucial to the overall successes and development of Cord of Three. We strive to fill our Board of Directors with only highly qualified individuals who bring key experiences and expertise to the table so that Cord of Three continues to move forward in the role God has called us to.

REBECCA BOURQUINE

Professional Counselor

Being a Christian, who was called into the counseling field, I realized early on that a person’s spiritual growth is the most important piece of recovery and healing through therapy. After several years of working in the field, I felt a need to be able to address this component freely, which I could not do in the
secular field. I work with females of all ages covering topics such as trauma, grief, adoption/foser concerns, behavioral issues and emotional wellness.  I see clients in Baxley and via google meet.

My husband and I have been married for 19 years.  We homeschool our three children, who thankfully, share our love of gardening.  When not busy with school or the garden, we spend time either with wonderful friends or playing games at home.

My favorite Bible verse is Lamentations 3:21-24
“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.  It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning:  Great is thy faithfulness.  The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.”

Tracy Crews

PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

After working in the field for several years it was apparent that a persons relationship with God is the most important thing.  I came to work in Christian counseling so that I can freely talk about that relationship and help to develop their walk. I work mainly with children, families and men.  I work in the Blackshear main office and also at the Harrell Center.

I am married to Lisa Crews and we have 11 kids, 9 of which still live in the home.  I enjoy spending time with the family and recently have been sucked into pickle ball.

My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 118:5
“I called upon the Lord in distress: The Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.”

Ralph Edwards

Professional Counselor

As a Christian, I believe God’s word has the answer to our problems.  Incorporating the Bible in our counseling is a must for change.  The Bible says in Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”  I believe that a great deal of what we experience can be changed by the renewing of our mind with guidance.  I work at Southside Baptist Church in Hazlehurst, GA and I also offer sessions via Google Meet.  I work mostly with those who have depression, anxiety and marriage issues

I have been married to a Christian wife for 39 blessed years.  We have two children, our son is 33 years old and is a registered nurse currenlty attending school to be a Nurse Practioner and our daughter is 29 years old and works as a veterinarian in Valdosta, GA.  We are blessed that they and their spouses are Christians as well.  I have been a Licensed Counselor since 2004 working in my own private practice as well as working in the school system as a counselor at the high school and middle school for a total of 17 years.  My hobbies include fishing and hunting.  We also enjoy spending time at the beach.  Most importantly I enjoy spending time with my family.

My favorite Bible verse is Phillipians 4:13
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

As in couple’s counseling, family counseling focuses on the relationship and dynamics within the family unit and between the individual members of it. The ultimate goal is to help the family be better able to thrive as a team.

Individual counseling can help overcome the sometimes overwhelming fear and hopelessness by helping you better understand the conditions that led to the emotional brokenness you are experiencing, and applying healthy coping skills against them.
